Remote Notary:
Start video conference and record it – it must be recorded and preserved for three years.
Identify the signatory. "What is your name? Please show your valid drivers license or ID to the camera."
Signatory must attest to be in Illinois. "Are you physically located in IL now?"
Notary must attest to be in Illinois. "I am a notary licensed in IL and physically located in IL."
Signatory must state what document they are signing. "What document are you signing?"
Each page containing a signature that is being notarized must be shown on video and signed on video. "Show me the page while you are signing it."
Within 24 hours, the entire document must be sent to the notary via overnight mail, fax or electronic means directly to the notary. "Take a picture of the entire document and email to me. Just the signature page of the trust is required." You will given the notary's email address.
The notary must sign the transmitted copy of the document and send the entire document back to the signatory by overnight mail, fax or electronic means within 24 hours. "What is your email to email it back to you?"
The signatory should mail the original documents to Kuczek & Associates, PO Box 208, Deerfield, IL 60015 ASAP and the notary may sign the original document within 30 days of the date of signing. "Send the original document to me so we can notarize the original document and mail it back to you."

All legal documents including Deeds, Last Wills, Trusts, POA's for Property, POA's for Health Care may be signed in counterparts. Witness signatures must be faxed or electronically sent to a Notary Public on the same day in order for the Notary Public to certify the witness signatures.
